Why predators spot hunters
Predator hunting is a game of close, alert eyes. A coyote coming to a distress call is hunting too. It circles, stops, and studies anything that looks out of place. Most setups fail because of a human outline against open ground, a pale face, or hands moving on the rifle. A 3D leafy suit softens that outline so you blend into the brush you sit against.
What to wear

Pick a pattern for the season

Setup tips for calling
- Sit against something. A tree trunk, bush or rock behind you hides your outline better than any suit alone.
- Get the wind right. Predators often circle downwind. Camo cannot hide your scent.
- Stay in shade and keep the sun behind you when you can.
- Set the rifle up early on sticks or a bipod so you are not moving when the coyote shows up.
- Move only when its head is down or behind cover.
Safety first: many states require blaze orange during firearm seasons, and the rules differ by state and species. Check your state wildlife agency’s regulations before you hunt, and wear orange where it is required.
